sometimes i'm not sure, whether it's deviantART or deviantPORN.
what do you think about that?
i was just browsing the photography gallery and about 50% was porn, seriously.
this is quite sad and it makes me wanna leave …

i uploaded a series of photos recently, called "blackbird".
this was part of my photoschool work.

photoshop book - available now!

_{hey all you creative minds out there!

last year was a blast! i had the chance to write a book (hence the lack in shootings) and now i'm happy to announce that it's finally available for all of you!!

it's in german, and it's about different editing techniques in photoshop elements - though you can also use it for photoshop as the commands are the same.

maybe more books will follow in the future. but right now i need to start shooting again. my friend ~DimitriosVellis and i will be proud owners of our own studio soon! looks like 2012 is going to be fabulous already
so many ideas are waiting to be realized! i can't wait

the next shooting will be a simple one with ~chililady, i'm already looking forward to that one!

The suggester says, "the story untold by ~chulii works because of the contrast, the light shining through the open windows and the hard shadows. The special thing I love most about this picture is that the person is in the shadow , in the dark and one can´t see any details just the shape of the person. Its very well balanced over all with the black and white theme".

CD Cover Contest

THEME

_{the theme is: create your personal cd cover!

imagine you have a band, how would this band be like: what kind of music do they play? is it a blues, punk, gothic, electro, metal, pop, ... band? are they popular or do just few people know them? what part would you be? singer, drummer, guitarist, didgeridoo player, ...?

tell us how this band represents you!

then go and create a cd cover for your band. give your band a name and the cd a title. title and name doesn't have to be on the cover itself, but in the description.

if you do have a band in real life, you can also make a cd cover for this band. but only if this band really represents yourself.

there are three skill-levels, but you can only participate in one: beginner, intermediate or advanced. for every level there will be only one winner.

contest starts february 15th and ends on May 1st.}

RULES

_{<ul style:disk:>the contest is open to traditional art, digital art and photography.

only one entry per deviant allowed. you can exchange your entry afterwards if you wish.

your entry has to be square, just like a cd cover.

describe your band in at least 50 words!

include the skills-level in your description that your entry participates in!

your entry must respect copyrights laws, da policies and credits agreements!

in the description you have to state that it's made for this contest and link back to this journal.

entry must be new and made especially for this contest (we won't accept any submissions that have been uploaded before february 15th).

no works allowed that express some kind of disrespect or contain pornographic material! please keep the mature content level to its minimum.

judges have the right to relocate the entry if it doesn't fit the chosen level.
